My Story

My very first experimental abstract painting I used a combination of techniques as I was so excited to try them all out on the one canvas, I thought I was making a mess of it but turned it into a masterpiece! I certainly surprised myself from the first attempt.

I was on a journey to purchase abstract paintings for my home, however one day I visited a friend of mine who is an amazing artist and encouraged me to pursue my love of abstract art. She showed me different techniques that can be used, and so I took it on board and thought to have a bit of fun with it not realizing that I was a natural and so my journey began.

Abstract art is definitely an art that captures your mind and heart as it leads you to places within the art itself. Looking back at my first piece after it was all dried, varnished and on my wall, I felt serenity, calmness and peace, so I called it "Mother Earth" as it captures an abstract effect of nature on a global scale but shrunk on a canvas.

I have always loved abstract painting and I am so glad it is my happy place.

I hope my art conveys a sense of humor, love, peace and kindness to everyone who views my paintings.
